Mobilisation workshop to explain
the BSC process, to assess the
current situation and to project
the desired way forward
3.Planned,
facilitated and documented
results of a staff focus group
to explain the BSC process, to
get staff involvement in the
development of the shared vision
for the organization, and to
solicit suggestions on how to
achieve that shared Vision.
4.Reviewed
the existing strategic plan,
annual reports and other
relevant documentation
5.Documented
and summarized the results of
the documentation review,
consultations, mobilization
workshop and staff focus groups
and for incorporation into the
next phase of the strategic

Planned, facilitated and documented notes of a 2-day
Strategic Planning Advance of the Board, management and
staff where participants reviewedthe current situation,fine tuned the vision, mission and core values,
developed Strategic Objectives in a Strategy Map, and
articulated performance measures, targets and
initiatives
7.Facilitated
a core group of managers in a 1½ day validation workshop
in which participants validated and fine-tuned the
outcomes of the 2-day Strategic Planning Advance and
developed the Implementation Plan consisting of the
Action Plan, Communication Plan and Monitoring Plan.
